Login or Browser Verification Issues

If you're having issues with the browser verification, the first step in troubleshooting is to make sure you're following these steps:

  1. Delete any old browser verification emails in your inbox from us. Accidentally clicking on the wrong email will cause issues.
  2. Go to our login page: https://admin.foxycart.com/admin.php
  3. Input your login info and ensure that the remember and trust this browseroption is checked, assuming you are not on a public or other person's computer.
  4. You should be prompted with a message about browser confirmation
  5. Check your email for an email from FoxyCart and click on the link in the email (email needs to be clicked on the same computer from where you're logging into FoxyCart). If you don't see the email, it may be helpful to search your entire mailbox for the subject Please verify your login to FoxyCart.
That should log you in and you shouldn't have to confirm the browser for a couple of months.

In our experience, issues logging in are usually related to one of the following things:

  • Not clicking through from the link on the email. (ie. Seeing the text after login and thinking it's an error.)
  • The email link opening in a different browser.
  • Not being able to get the email.
  • Other issues with cookies being reset.
  • We recommend adding each staff as a user.
